※The customers shall be unable to purchase or withdraw from any plan for any reason after the rental agreement has been completed.
※Any extension without our consent will not be covered by theinsurance.

If the vehicle inoperable as a result of an accident, theft or breakdown, stain or odor on or in the vehicle caused by the lessee or the driver suspended during the lease term, the following fees will be imposed as compensation for use of the vehicle during the time repaired (tax exempt).

※Should the lessee or driver be involved in an accident,compensation will be provided within the warranty limits listed below:


■Bodily Injury Liability Coverage
When the driver was the cause of injury or death of the other party.
Unlimited Coverageper person (includes Automobile Liability Insurance up to JPY30 million ) 

■Property Damage Liability Coverage
When the driver was the cause of property or vehicle damages of the other party.

※The customer shall be fully responsible for any losses and damages not covered by insurance or in excess of applicable limits of coverage.
※Payments for third party bodily injury, property damage, and personal bodily injury are based on Insurance policy terms and conditions issued by the insurer. Compensation for own vehicle damage is based on details above.

**Effective November 1, 2025**
**Roadside assistance for JAF members is available.**
A handling fee of ¥25,000 (tax included) applies per use. (Please pay at the store when returning your vehicle.)
・Emergency jump-start service for dead batteries
・Emergency tire repair for flat tires
・Lockout assistance and door opening
・Fuel delivery and jump-start for empty fuel tanks
・Extraction from ditches or stuck situations
・Inspection for unusual noises or odors
・Towing of broken-down vehicles (tow truck transport) ※Towing fees due to parking violations are excluded
When JAF members use our roadside assistance service, JAF will notify our company (Nissan Rent-a-Car) regarding the details of the service usage.

■If you p urchase the Standard Plan when signing a rental agreement, in addition to the Light Plan, in the event of an accident, the property damage deductible (JPY50,000) and the vehicle damage deductible (JPY50,000), for license plate numbers beginning with “1“ including microbuses and trucks (JPY100,000) will be waived.
※However, NOC is not exempted.

****Anshin Support（Until October 31, 2025）****
■The following roadside services will be covered by the Company (Up to JPY30,000)
・Expenses for repairing or replacing a  at or blow out tire
・Services to restart a battery that ran out due to leaving car lights on.
・Services to unlock a car when an ignition key is left locked in the vehicle.
■Roadside services that require towing inoperable vehicle to the designated repair shop will be covered by the company.
(Up to JPY 100,000)
※Not applicable for towing expenses due to parking violations.
■Other Services
・A late fee will be waived for the  rst hour if you notify our rental outlet at least 1 hour before your scheduled time of return.
※This waiver applies solely for business hours of the branch office agreed to returned to.
※The service expires if delayed return exceeds 1 hour.

・Tire purchase costs. (When emergency measures for punctures or blowouts are insufficient and purchase/replacement is necessary)
■If you use JAF member roadside assistance, JAF will notify our company (Nissan Rent-a-Car) regarding the usage details of that service.
Other Services
■If you will be late returning the vehicle, contact the store at least one hour before the scheduled return time to receive a free one-hour extension.
This applies only within the operating hours of the return location.
This service does not apply if the delay exceeds one hour.

※Purchasing the Full Support Plan when signing a rental contract, the Standard Plan coverage and Non-Operation Charge coverage are combined (optional fees exempt).

The following situations are not be covered by insurance and the lessee or driver will be responsible for all damages caused by the customer (e.g., rental car repair and cleaning costs, rental car repossession costs, and other expenses related to rental equipment replacement).
■When required procedures were not followed, such as notifying the police and the rental branch office at the time of an accident.
■When terms and condition of the lease is violated.
■When an exclusion in the insurance policy is applicable
・e.g., damage caused to property owned, used or controlled by the driver, etc.
■If there was a fault in managing usage.
・Smoking in a non smoking vehicle (including electronic heated cigarettes)
・When repairs are required due to refueling wrong type of fuel.
・When the vehicle was stolen while parked leaving the keys on, or doors unlocked.
※If our sta  determines that traces of smoking, such as cigarette odor or ashes left in a non smoking vehicle, a penalty of JPY77,000 (including restoration costs) will be charged, in addition to a non operation charge.
■Damages to interior parts and rental items
■Acts that cause considerable inconvenience to the Company or other renters (e.g., leaving behind items or soiling the interior of the rental car), etc.
■Other cases that apply as follows:
•Damages due to a  at or blow out tire (full support
plan/standard plan are covered

•Damaged or missing wheel caps
•Damaged or lost keys (JPY5,000 for board keys and JPY15,000 for other key types)
•Intentional Damage
※All matters relating to the rental property are based on the "Rental Terms and Conditions".
※All matters relating to insurance coverage are based on the "Insurance Terms and Conditions".

・If the scheduled return date and time is changed, or if vehicle return will be delayed, you must contact the branch office where the trip started.
・The renter is responsible to pay a surcharge corresponding to the extended period.

The renter will be required to pay a penalty fee for changing the return branch location other than the designated return location without the consent of the branch where the trip started.
Penalty for change of rental car rental location = Cost of transporting the rental car back to its original branch location × 200%

A late night rental fee of JPY 1,100 tax included) will be charged, for every rental pickup or return between 10:00 pm and 4:59 am on the following day (tax included) If both pickup and returns
occur during late night hours, JPY 2,200 (tax included) will be charged.

The fuel tank should be  lled with gasoline (or diesel as required). If the tank is not  lled before the vehicle is returned, the customer will be charged an amount calculated according to the distance driven. Note that, you will be charged more than the cost of actually  lling the tank yourself.

When using an EV vehicle, we will lend you a charging card free of charge. Except for exceptions such as when a charging card is not required, depending on the mileage at the time of return We will settle the electricity bill. (Please contact the store for details)

Fastening Seat Belts
In addition to the driver's seat and passenger seat, passengers in all seats are required to wear their seat belts. For safety reasons, please be sure to wear your seatbelt.
Beware Of Over Speeding!
Excessive speed is extremely dangerous and must be avoided. The risk of leading to a serious accident is very high. Please drive according to the legal speed limit.
Make Sure To Take Frequent Breaks
Driving with fatigue can cause you to fall asleep while driving or even causes a serious accident. Please take frequent breaks and drive safely.
Using Mobile Phones and Smartphones While Driving
Using a mobile phone or smartphone while driving is a violation of the Road Tra c Act. This is extremely dangerous, never use your mobile phone while driving.

Contact the departure branch if the vehicle appears to be faulty or malfunctioning. If the departure branch closed, please call the call center below and also call the departure branch the following day during business hours.

Promptly report to the police station of the jurisdiction, complete the required procedures, and pay the fine before return the vehicle.

We will check the “Traffic Violation Notice” and the “Payment Notice and Receipt”with the date of payment when the vehicle is returned

Refund of Parking Fines
We will refund paid parking  nes when a “Traffic Violation Notice“ and the“Payment Receipt“ is submitted as proof of payment Refunds will be made to the renter's designated  nancial institute account, less remittance and other banking fees.

Measures To Be Taken Against Non-Payment
If violation fee payments cannot be con rmed, and the driver fails to pay penalties, the driver will be registered in a system maintained by the All Japan Rent-A-Car Association Car rental companies that are members of the association may refuse to rent their vehicles to the driver in the future.

In the event of an accident, stop driving immediately and be sure to take the following steps:
①Rescue the injured.
After rescuing the injured, promptly move the rental car to a location where it will not block traffic.
②Contact the police (110) from the scene.
Both the party af fault and the injured party are obligated to report to the police.
An accident report will be required later, so be sure to complete the necessary procedures.
③Contact the departed branch from the scene.
