If any of the following applies, insurance/compensation coverage will not apply, and any resulting damage (such as rental car repair costs, cleaning fees, or costs associated with towing the rental car) will be fully charged to the customer at their own expense.
When the prescribed procedures are not followed at the time of an accident
When the Rental Contract is violated
When an insurance agreement disclaimer applies
Damage caused to property owned, used, or managed by the customer
When there is improper usage on the part of the customer
・Smoking in non-smoking vehicles (including e-cigarettes and heated tobacco products) ※ If our staff determines that smoking has occurred, such as by the presence of tobacco odor or ash in a non-smoking vehicle, you will be charged a penalty fee of 77,000 yen (including restoration costs) in addition to the Non-Operation Charge.
・Repairs due to refueling with an improper fuel type
・When the vehicle is stolen while parked and the key is in the ignition or the doors are unlocked.
Damage to in-vehicle equipment and rental equipment
Acts that cause significant inconvenience to the Company or other lessees (leaving items, etc. inside the rental car, defacing the rental car), etc.
In addition, if any of the following apply
・Lost or damaged hubcaps
・Lost or damaged keys (5,000 yen will be charged for plate keys, 15,000 yen for other keys)
・Any other damage that was caused intentionally.
All matters relating to the rental and delivery of the car shall be in accordance with the 「Rental Contract」
All matters related to insurance coverage shall be in accordance with the 「Insurance Agreement」
